No. H-1701/187/2023-HD-HD-Part(1): The following Notification issued by the Commission of Inquiry (Manipur Violence) 2023 vide No. CoI/Manipur/2023/026 dated 30th April, 2026 is hereby republished in the Manipur Extraordinary Gazette in the form of Notification for information of the general public and all concerned:

NOTIFICATION

Imphal, the 30th April, 2026

No. CoI/Manipur/2023/026: In exercise of the power conferred by Section 8 of the Commission of Inquiry Act, 1952, and in partial modification of the Regulation of Procedure for the Commission of Inquiry (Manipur Violence) 2023 notified vide Notification No. GSR (E) dated 9th August, 2023, the Commission brings amendment in the location of the Headquarters of the Commission at Imphal.

Likewise, the provision at Para 1 of the Regulation of Procedure concerning address of the Headquarters of the Commission originally notified as “the headquarters of the Commission shall be at Room No. 104, First Floor, Hotel Imphal (By the Classic), North AOC, Imphal, Manipur, 795001” is hereby amended as “the headquarters of the Commission shall be at Room No. 135, Second Floor, North Block, Manipur Civil Secretariat, Mantripukhri, Imphal, 795002.”

This notification shall come into force with effect from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.

All proceedings, actions taken, notices issued, and records maintained prior to this amendment shall remain valid and shall be deemed to have been undertaken at the duly notified headquarters of the Commission.
