FIFTEEN years ago, on 14 May 2011, a small seed was planted with the launch of Zogam Today as a monthly magazine. Guided by our motto, “Our Today: Our Future and History,” we began documenting the stories of our people. If God is willing, Zogam Today will celebrate its 14th anniversary as a daily newspaper on 30 October 2026, having successfully made the big leap from a monthly to a daily publication on 30 October 2012. We offer our deepest thanks to God Almighty for this journey, remembering the words of Psalm 126:3: “The Lord has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy.”
The journey has not always been easy, but our commitment to media ethics remains unshakable. We believe in reporting the truth without bias, ensuring that our news is fair, honest, and factual. Zogam Today serves as a bridge, fostering communal harmony, peace, and brotherhood among the Zo kindred tribes. Whether we are covering local developments, national headlines across India, or significant news from our neighbouring countries and the wider world, our goal is to keep our community informed and united in an ever-changing world.
Running
a daily paper has its share of ups and downs, yet we strive for better with
each passing day. This progress is a testament to the incredible efforts of our
editorial staff. Rain or shine, and often under immense pressure to meet tight
deadlines, our team works untiringly to ensure the news reaches you. As our Editor rightly noted, “By the blessing
of God Almighty, we have managed to run our paper until today. I also
appreciate my fellow colleagues who work so dedicatedly and untiringly to make
this possible.”
Finally,
we owe a huge thank you to you: our well-wishers, supporters, and loyal
readers. Your trust is the fuel that keeps our presses running. As we look back
on our history and move toward our upcoming anniversary in October, we promise
to remain a voice you can depend on. We have faced many challenges, but with
your continued support and God’s guidance, we are committed to growing even
stronger. Together, we are not just recording history; we are shaping a
brighter tomorrow for everyone.
A
newspaper is more than just ink on paper; it is the heartbeat of a community.
The growth of Zogam Today from a
monthly dream to a daily staple proves that when professional ethics are paired
with faith, media becomes a powerful tool for unity. Our story shows that
persistence, supported by a dedicated team and a loyal audience, can turn a
simple vision into a lasting legacy for the generations to come.
