Consultative meeting with the Village Authorities, Churches leaders, women leaders, Intellectuals and Youth leaders of Haochong Area at Camp Mount Ararat on the prevailing Situation
After a prolonged and thoughtful deliberation with the Chairman and officers of the Zeliangrong United Front during the consultative meeting on the prevailing situations held on the 4th of May, 2026 at Camp Mount Ararat, we, the Zeliangrong-Inpui of the Haochong area, do hereby solemnly and unequivocally resolve to uphold peace, unity, and harmonious co-existence across our Zeliangrong-Inpui region.
At this critical and sensitive juncture, we firmly reaffirm our collective commitment to refrain from any actions that may exacerbate tensions or inflame the already volatile and fragile situation. Guided by wisdom, restraint, and a deep sense of responsibility, we choose the path of peace, stability, and constructive engagement over discord and unrest.
We further pledge our unwavering support to the ongoing political dialogue between the Zeliangrong United Front and the Government of India. With steadfast determination and unity of purpose, we shall stand resolute until a just, honorable, and lasting solution is achieved for our people.
Today, and in the days to come, we, the Zeliangrong-Inpui stand for peace. We remain devoted to preserving harmony, fostering mutual respect, and ensuring that the spirit of unity prevails across our land for generations ahead.
