KSO Urges Swift Resolution to CG College Principal Row

Lamka, July 7, 2026: The Kuki Students' Organisation (KSO), Churachandpur District, has appealed to the concerned authorities to resolve the ongoing dispute over the Principal's post at Churachandpur Government College without delay, stating that the issue is affecting the institution's academic environment.

In an appeal issued on Monday, the student body said it had taken note of the recent developments surrounding the college principal and expressed concern that the controversy could hamper both the college's academic growth and the welfare of its students. It noted that the new academic session has already begun and stressed that the dispute should not disrupt the smooth functioning of the institution.

KSO further urged the concerned department to settle the matter at the earliest, emphasising that a premier educational institution like Churachandpur Government College should not be politicised or communalised. The organisation also called on all concerned to respect and adhere to the government's orders regarding the appointment of the Principal.

The student body appealed for the appointment of a regular Principal at the earliest, saying it would be in the best interest of the college and ensure that academic progress continues without interruption.
