Phaimol Kuki Village in Noney district, Manipur, was allegedly burnt down by suspected armed cadres of the NSCN-IM and the Shanni Nationalities Army (SNA) on the morning of 01 July 2026. According to local villagers, all the houses in the village were set on fire by the attackers, who were reportedly armed with sophisticated weapons. The villagers said they managed to escape the attack and fled to safety.
