KANGPOKPI, August 21, 2026: The District Health Society, Kangpokpi, has detailed a team of Medical Officers and staff to Primary Health Centre (PHC) T. Waichong following the non-availability of a Medical Officer at the health centre.
An order issued on August 20, 2026, by the Office of the District Health Society, Kangpokpi, said the deployment was made in the public interest.
According to the order, Dr Paokai Kipgen, Chief Medical Officer, Kangpokpi; Dr Thangminlun Singson, DNO NCD, CMO Pool, Kangpokpi; and Khuplenman Chongloi, Pharmacist, CMO Pool, Kangpokpi, will be on duty at PHC T. Waichong from August 21 to 27.
They will be followed by Dr Pum Za Mang Shoute, Senior Medical Officer, CHC Kangpokpi, from August 27 to September 3.
Dr Iquebal Ahmad, Senior Medical Officer, CHC Kangpokpi, will serve from September 3 to 10, followed by Dr John Lupheng, Senior Medical Officer, CHC Kangpokpi, from September 10 to 17.
Dr Mahammed Kabul Haque, Senior Medical Officer, PHC Gamphazol, has been detailed for duty from September 17 to 24.
The order was issued by Hemant Kumar, IAS, Deputy Commissioner and Chairman of the District Health Society, Kangpokpi.
Copies were forwarded to the Director of Health Services, Manipur, Superintendent of Police, Kangpokpi, Medical Superintendent of DH Kangpokpi, Medical Officer in-charge of PHC Motbung and other concerned officials.
