Kangpokpi, August 14, 2026: The District Administration of Kangpokpi observed Partition Horrors Remembrance Day at the Conference Hall of the Deputy Commissioner’s Office on Friday.
The programme brought together local administrative officials and key stakeholders to solemnly remember the pain, sacrifices and struggles endured by millions of people during the Partition of India in 1947.
The observance highlighted the importance of remembering the human suffering and hardships associated with the Partition while honouring those who lost their lives, homes and livelihoods during the tumultuous period.
