Churachandpur, August 07, 2026 (DIO): The Department of Tribal Affairs &Hills, Manipur invites online application for availing Pre-Matric Scholarship (reading in Classes IX and X) and Post-Matric Scholarship from the desirous eligible Schedule Tribe students belonging to Manipur State whose parents’/guardians’ annual income does not exceeds Rs. 2,50,000/- pursuing their studies in the Govt/Govt recognised Schools/Institutions/Universities in India for the Academic Session of 2026-27.
The notification informed that the application will be activated from 01.08.2026 to 31.10.2026 at www.scholarships.gov.in.
FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE UNDER STATE PLAN SCHEMES
As per notification issued by Directorate of Tribal Affairs & Hills, Government of Manipur, on 5th August, 2026, applications are invited from eligible Scheduled Tribe (ST) families/beneficiaries of Manipur for assistance under 3 State Plan Schemes for the financial year 2026-27.
The schemes are Rural Shelter/Housing, Piggery (Rearing of Piglets) and Financial Assistance for Medical Treatment of ST Patients. Application forms are available from 31.07.2026 at https://dtahills.mn.gov.in.
Last date for submission is 31st August, 2026. Duly filled application Forms may also be submitted through CEOs of 6 ADCs. (Chandel, Churachandpur, Senapati, Kangpokpi, Tamenglong and Ukhrul ).
