UKNA Denies Any Role in Tronglaobi Case, Defends Palal Kuki

LAMKA, August 15, 2026: The United Kuki National Army (UKNA), Government of Kuki-Gam, has denied any involvement in the Tronglaobi case, stating that it has no connection with the matter.

In a statement dated August 15, 2026, the UKNA General Headquarters said allegations linking the organisation to the case were “undoubtedly” false and clarified that UKNA had no involvement in the incident.

The organisation also strongly objected to the alleged involvement of Mr Palal Kuki in the case, describing the accusations against him as “highly illegal and condemnable”.

According to the statement, Palal Kuki is a religious leader who is committed to serving his people both spiritually and physically. The UKNA claimed that he has no connection with, or knowledge of, the subject matter of the case.

The statement further emphasised that Palal Kuki is not related to the UKNA.

The clarification was issued by the Department of Information, UKNA, from its General Headquarters.
