The Kuki-Zo Women’s Forum, Delhi & NCR (KZWFD) has submitted an Urgent Complaint & Memorandum to the National Human Rights Commission* (NHRC) seeking immediate intervention into the reported killing of Kuki-Zo women and unarmed civilians* in Manipur, allegedly by ceasefire-bound Naga factional groups.
KZWFD has called for:
🔴 An impartial, independent Central investigation* into the killings.
🔴 Accountability and prosecution* of those responsible.
🔴 Immediate protection of vulnerable Kuki-Zo women, children and civilians.
🔴 Comprehensive human-rights protection* in conflict-affected areas.
Every civilian life matters. Human rights cannot be selective. Justice cannot be delayed.
