LAMKA, October 26, 2026: The Mizo Integration Cultural Festival 2026 will be held on October 29 and 30 at Saikot Ground, Saikot, under the theme “Integration through Culture”. Organised by the Mizo Integration Council, the two-day festival aims to bring people together through music, cultural performances and community participation.
The festival will feature prominent Mizo artistes, local performers and special cultural presentations, with musical programmes scheduled from 6 pm onwards.
On October 29, at 6 pm, Pu Paolienlal Haokip, MLA of the 59-Saikot Assembly Constituency, will attend as Chief Guest, while Mizo Zirlai Pawl, General Headquarters, Aizawl, will be the Guest of Honour.
The programme on October 30 will begin at 11 am, with Pu C. Saviunga, Minister of Arts and Culture, Government of Mizoram, as Chief Guest. Pu R. Lalngheta, President of CYMA, will serve as Functional President, while Pu Lalmuanuipauia Punte, MLA and Political Advisor to the Chief Minister of Mizoram, will attend as Guest of Honour. Pu L.M. Khaute, MLA of the 58-Ccpur Assembly Constituency, will be the Chief Host.
The evening programme on October 30, scheduled for 6 pm onwards, will feature Chief Guest Pu Chinlunthang, MLA of the 60-Singngat Assembly Constituency, and Guest of Honour Pu Letzamang Haokip, MLA of the 57-Henglep Assembly Constituency.
The festival's guest artistes include Mendal, Siampuii Ralte, Diki Khawbel and David Darlong. Local artistes Daisy Khawbung, Muan Hangzo, James Arjun, Lily Ramthar, Pauginmuan, Maxxy Minthang and Colney Zikpui will also perform.
Special attractions will include performances by We Dance Academy, Blessed Choir, joint artistes and a cultural parade, adding to the festival's celebration of music, cultural identity and unity.
The organisers have extended an invitation to the public to attend the festival and participate in the celebration, which seeks to promote integration and strengthen cultural bonds through shared traditions and artistic expression.
