New Delhi: On 1st March 2024, an incident took place at Safdarjung Enclave, south Delhi, wherein a lawyer was attacked by an Army naik and another man after a car collision. The assailants fled but were later arrested, with one of them brandishing a pistol in a threatening manner. The incident, captured on CCTV, unfolded with a chaotic crowd as one man brandished a pistol.
Mizo woman constable, PC Vanlalruati, courageously intervened. She was then aided by a man in disarming the individual. The crowd turns aggressive towards the gun wielder, but PC Vanlalruati restored order, preventing a potential disaster through her swift and brave actions.
