A True Picture of WINESELLERS vs DRINKERS

 The saying, “a picture is worth a thousand words,”  holds true in our context.

“Most of the wine-vendors in Lamka town were Meiteis before the violence erupted, while the customers were predominantly from our communities. They had constructed many beautiful buildings in their localities, which now lie in ruins. The wealth gained through illegal means has proven to be short-lived!”

Many of our people, who are the regular customers have faded away to the cemetery for their eternal rest, 

and in their place, only beautiful tombstones now rise in their memory.
