For the past several months, unverified news, including false rumors and hate speech targeting specific communities in Churachandpur District, have been circulating on social media, inciting communal hatred among the residents. In pursuance of the notification issued by the District Information Officer, Churachandpur, dated March 20th, 2025, the Kuki Inpi Churachandpur (KIC) hereby issues this notification, appealing to its people residing in Churachandpur to be vigilant and exercise maximum restraint when circulating and publishing unauthenticated news/articles that could incite social disorder and communal tension.
Any individual or group failing to comply with this request will be responsible for their actions. Social media operators (Admins) are directed to take prompt action against individuals circulating hatred campaigns that cause social unrest. The Kuki Inpi Churachandpur (KIC) and its federating Units/CSOs will not interfere with or intervene on behalf of offenders.
We urge the public to avoid unnecessary confrontations that could escalate and derail our political goals. Let us work together to end our socio-political, economic, and self-reliance struggles, as guaranteed by the Constitution of India.
