Konyak Students’ Union Orders ILP Checks, Calls for Deportation of Violators

NOTIFICATION

This is to inform all concerned that the Konyak Students’ Union has directed all Federating Units, especially Tizit Area and Naginimora Area—those stationed at Namsa Gate and Naginimora Gate—to deploy 100 (One Hundred) volunteers daily at every entry point into Mon district.

The volunteers are tasked with checking all non-local entrance into Mon district to ensure they are carrying valid ILP and proper documentation.

Anyone found without valid documentation must be deported immediately from Mon district.

In addition, the Konyak Students’ Union strongly appeals the District Administration to suspend the ILP (Inner Line Permit) registration process for a minimum period of one month, to allow proper scrutiny and to prevent unchecked influx into our district.

Strict compliance from all units and concerned authorities is expected in the interest of safeguarding our indigenous rights and security.
