Kuki Inpi Delhi (KID) expresses its unwavering support and full endorsement of the Office Memorandum issued by Kuki Inpi Manipur (KIM) on 5th July, 2025 (copy enclosed), declaring the collective political position of the Kuki-Zo people with regard to the ongoing political development in the state of Manipur.

We commend the joint leadership and federating units of KIM for their clarity, unity and unwavering commitment in affirming that:

(i) No Kuki-Zo MLA shall take part in the formation of any new popular government in the state of Manipur.

(ii) Under no circumstances shall the Kuki-Zo people compromise our ancestral land, culture, identity and political, social and economic rights.

The resolution reflects the collective will and political aspiration of the Kuki-Zo people, grounded in the need to protect our community's integrity, identity and future. Kuki Inpi Delhi views this as a historic and necessary stand in light of the injustices and aggression faced by our people.

Kuki Inpi Delhi urges all Kuki-Zo public representatives, civil society organisations and individuals to stand united in word and action behind this resolution. The struggle for justice, dignity and rightful recognition requires uncompromising solidarity and political maturity.

We reaffirm that this moment demands responsibility, restraint and resolve from all corners of our society. The position taken by KIM is not just political stance but it is a reaffirmation of our collective identity and future.
