On August 12, 2025, security forces conducted an operation at Dampi Ridge under Churachandpur Police Station in Churachandpur district.
The search led to the recovery of:
3 single-barrel rifles
5 long-range mortars (pompi)
7 improvised explosive devices (IEDs)
2 bulletproof vests
2 Baofeng Motorola radios
1 Baofeng Motorola charger
2 helmets.
