CYMA Elects New Office Bearers for 2025–27 at 75th Conference in Mizoram

The election of office bearers for the Central Young Mizo Association (CYMA), the most influential organisation in Mizoram, was held today during its 75th Conference at Sakawrdai.

Pu R. Lalngheta elected as President of CYMA. 

The following leaders have been elected for the 2025–2027 term, along with the total votes polled and votes secured by each candidate:


President

  • Pu R. Lalngheta (Hlimen)

    • Votes Polled: 3,061

    • Votes Secured: 1,818 (59.39%)

Vice President

  • Prof. Lalnuntluanga (New Capital)

    • Votes Polled: 2,655

    • Votes Secured: 2,260 (85.12%)

General Secretary

  • Prof. Malsawmliana (Vaivakawn)

    • Votes Polled: 2,107

    • Votes Secured: 1,996 (94.73%)

Assistant Secretary

  • S.F. David Ngursangzuala (Dinthar)

    • Votes Polled: 1,940

    • Votes Secured: 1,162 (59.85%)

Treasurer

  • Er. H. Duhkima (Dam Veng)

    • Votes Polled: 1,975

    • Votes Secured: 1,110 (56.20%)

The newly elected team will serve the CYMA for the 2025–2027 term.

The outgoing president hands over the Central Y.M.A. President’s nameplate to the newly elected president.
