Trump Calls to Protect Persecuted Christians Worldwide — Urged to Include Manipur, India

Christianity is facing an existential threat in Nigeria. Thousands of Christians are being killed. Radical Islamists are responsible for this mass slaughter. I am hereby making Nigeria a “COUNTRY OF PARTICULAR CONCERN” — But that is the least of it. When Christians, or any such group, is slaughtered like is happening in Nigeria (3,100 versus 4,476 Worldwide), something must be done! I am asking Congressman Riley Moore, together with Chairman Tom Cole and the House Appropriations Committee, to immediately look into this matter, and report back to me. The United States cannot stand by while such atrocities are happening in Nigeria, and numerous other Countries. We stand ready, willing, and able to save our Great Christian population around the World!

A strong and timely statement by President Donald J. Trump! The persecution of Christians around the world truly deserves global attention and action. Nigeria’s suffering is heartbreaking — but the crisis extends far beyond.

In India, we have also witnessed tragic cases of Christian persecution — the brutal killing of missionary Graham Staines and his two sons, the murder of Catholic fathers in Manipur by Meitei underground outfits, and the destruction of more than 300 churches since the Manipur violence began in May 2023.

Mr. Trump’s call to defend persecuted Christians worldwide should also include the Manipur conflict, where believers continue to face severe attacks and displacement.

May global leaders unite to protect the freedom of faith, justice, and humanity. ✝️🙏
