The Government reiterated its commitment to ensure that those responsible for the 4 May 2023 assault are investigated, prosecuted, and brought to justice.
The need to expedite investigation in cases of deaths arising from violent assaults was discussed.
Discussion was held on the future course of action toward peace and on advancing political solution under the Suspension ofOperations framework in a manner acceptable to all communities.
The Government informed that, as a full Cabinet is yet to be constituted, major policy decisions may require time
