Pherzawl, May 20, 2026: Continuing its effort to bring Government services closer to remote communities, the District Administration, Pherzawl today conducted the nationwide IEC campaign “Jan Bhagidari Abhiyan – Sabse Door, Sabse Pehle” at Tinsuong village.

The outreach programme was held under the overall leadership of Deputy Commissioner, Pherzawl, Smt. Mannuamching, and supervised by Shri Zosanglur Joute, ADC Pherzawl, along with Shri Lunlenmoi Vaiphei, SDC Parbung.
Villagers, including elders and school children, actively participated in the campaign activities organised by various departments. As part of the programme, the Divisional Forest Office, Pherzawl carried out a tree plantation drive to promote environmental awareness and encourage community participation.
An Aadhaar enrolment and updation drive was also organised for school children to help them access Government welfare and educational services more easily.
The Health Department team, led by Dr. Thanglienzuol, Medical Officer In-Charge, CHC Parbung, conducted a health screening camp for villagers. Enrolment drives for Chief Ministergi Hakshelgi Tengbang (CMHT) and Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PM-JAY) health cards were also carried out during the programme.
The campaign aims to strengthen grassroots outreach by ensuring that essential Government services and welfare schemes reach even the remotest villages of the district.
