Tengnoupal, 19 May, 2026 (DIO): In continuation of the Nationwide IEC Campaign on Jan Bhagidari
Abhiyan - Sabse Door, Sabse Pehle, the District Administration, Tengnoupal today
conducts Janjatiya Garima Utsav at Meipou Village community hall, Tengnoupal
District.
Today’s Saturation
camps was held under Machi TD Block covering
Khangshim, Laiching Maipou and Khukarthil villages. 11 (eleven) line
departments have provided services to around 150 participants from the three
villages.
The programme featured
public interaction, awareness sessions on government schemes, grievances and
inter departmental coordination.
Speaking to the
gathering, Programme officer of Fishery department said that though fishery is considered as
small department it would greatly help those farmers who had not regular
income. The department has taken up six
component in Tengnoupal district by providing financial assistance. He urges those
fish farmers who avail financial assistance should work hard with sincerity to yield more production.
Officials from Health and District Child Protection Unit aslo spoke on various
schemes they have implemented as awareness to the general public.
Chairman, Meipou
village Authority, Makunga Tomba, Dr. Th. Priyobata MO, Sankhil Reena Lamkang,
Sub-Register, Cooperative were among those dignitaries attended on the dais.
