IEC Jan Bhagidari Drive Benefits 2,000 in CCPur

Lamka, May 25, 2026 (DIO): The week-long Jan Sunwai, benefit saturation, and health camp held today at Songpi village marked the successful conclusion of the IEC Jan Bhagidari Abhiyan in Churachandpur district. The campaign, themed “Jan Bhagidaari Sabse Door, Sabse Pehle,” was launched by the District Administration, Churachandpur at Elim Veng Gram Panchayat on May 18 and continued across the district till May 25.

The nationwide campaign, initiated by the Ministry of Tribal Affairs and Hills, Government of India, aimed to ensure saturation of flagship government schemes while strengthening citizen participation through extensive outreach programmes in remote areas. Activities carried out during the campaign included Jan Sunwais, plantation drives, health camps, welfare service delivery, beneficiary identification, documentation facilitation, and awareness programmes on major government schemes.

Speaking to media persons in his chamber, Deputy Commissioner Shri Dharun Kumar S informed that till May 24, a total of 1,994 beneficiaries availed various services under the IEC Jan Bhagidari Abhiyan across all 89 DAJGUA villages. He also stated that 978 VB-RAM-G or MGNREGS-related grievances were resolved during the campaign.

According to the Deputy Commissioner, services delivered under the campaign included 476 Aadhaar-related services, 82 Ayushman Bharat cards, 903 on-the-spot caste and tribe certificates, and 93 registrations under PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. Other achievements included opening of 50 PM Jan Dhan Yojana accounts, 79 enrolments under PM Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana, 75 registrations under PM Suraksha Bima Yojana, and 44 registrations under Atal Pension Yojana.

Additionally, 39 beneficiaries were covered under PM Matru Vandana Yojana, 87 under Poshan Abhiyan, and 38 under PM Van Dhan Yojana. The campaign also facilitated the issuance of 21 ration cards, registration of five beneficiaries under PM Vishwakarma, and generation of two Kisan Credit Cards.

The Deputy Commissioner appreciated the efforts of block administrations and line departments for successfully implementing the special campaign with strong awareness and outreach activities through wall paintings, posters, hoardings, selfie points, and information dissemination at camp venues, including health camps.

He reiterated that the District Administration, Churachandpur remains committed to ensuring timely delivery of public services through effective departmental convergence under the Jan Bhagidari Abhiyan, thereby promoting inclusive governance and encouraging citizen participation at the grassroots level towards the vision of a “Viksit Bharat.”
