Tengnoupal Launches IEC Campaign for Tribal Welfare

Tengnoupal, May 18, 2026 (DIO): The District Administration, Tengnoupal today launched the Nationwide IEC Campaign on Jan Bhagidari Abhiyan - Sabse Door, Sabse Pehle, at SDO Machi camp office, Khangshim, Tengnoupal District.

The objective of the the Nationwide Information, Education and Communication (IEC) campaign is to create awareness on welfare schemes for the tribals and to conduct beneficiary saturation camps for the tribals.

The campaign which launched today will covered 11 (eleven) villages of Tengnoupal district. and it will be conducted in three Blocks, Machi, Moreh and Tengnoupal. The District Administration urges the villages to participate and make the campaign a success.

The Nationwide IEC Campaign title Jan Bhagidari Abhiyan - Sabse Door, Sabse Pehle, under PM-JANMAN & DAJGUA will be observed in Tengnoupal district from 18^th to 25^th May, 2026.

IEC campaign plan and activities  during the campaign in respect of Tengnoupal district  includes Entitlement drive, saturation camps and health screening camps at village level. Village immersion drive by organizing transect walks in the villages by officers and Adi Karmayogis and NGOs, Jan Sunwai for grievance redressal and Fast track entitlements resolutions.
