Lamka, May 18, 2026 (DIO): The Churachandpur District Administration has rolled out the nationwide Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) campaign “Jan Bhagidaari Sabse Door, Sabse Pehle”, scheduled from May 18 to May 25, 2026. The initiative is designed to raise awareness of government welfare schemes among tribal communities and ensure saturation of benefits for the Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups (PVTG) and other tribal families.

Deputy Commissioner Shri Dharun Kumar S inaugurated the campaign at Elim Veng, Lamka South, in the presence of District Level Officers (DLOs), community leaders, and prospective beneficiaries. As part of the launch, departmental stalls were set up to address citizens’ needs and grievances, providing direct access to welfare services.

The administration has prepared an extensive outreach plan covering 12 development blocks and 112 villages. During the week-long drive, 29 Saturation and Health Camps and 28 Jan Sunwai sessions will be conducted across Henglep, Kangvai, Tuibong, Saikot, Samulamlan, Lamka, Lamka South, Lanva, Sangaikot, Singhat, Mualnuam, and Suangdoh blocks.

Services offered under the campaign include issuance of Aadhaar cards, ration cards, Ayushman Bharat (PM-JAY) cards, caste and domicile certificates, Kisan Credit Cards (KCC), PM-KISAN payments, Jan Dhan accounts, insurance coverage under PMJBY/PMBSBY, social security pensions, livelihood schemes such as MGNREGA, PM Vishwakarma, Mudra loans, and women and child welfare benefits, including ICDS services and immunization.

Following the launch, the campaign continued at Saikot village under Saikot Block later in the day. Outreach activities will move to Henglep, Tuibong, Singhat, Sangaikot, and Suangdoh blocks on May 19.

Officials emphasized that the IEC campaign builds upon earlier DAJGUA and PM-JANMAN initiatives, intending to achieve complete enrolment and awareness across all villages covered under these flagship programmes during the scheduled week of intensive outreach.
