KPA Disowns SADP Formation and Unapproved Press Release

LAMKA — The Kuki People’s Alliance (KPA), an Election Commission of India (ECI)-registered political party (ECI Reg. No. 56/232/2021-22/PPS-IV), has issued a formal rebuttal denying involvement in the reported formation of the "Separate Administration Demand Party (SADP)".

In an official statement signed by Information Secretary Gogou Chongloi, the KPA clarified that no internal discussions, meetings, or resolutions regarding SADP were conducted by the party. Furthermore, the party explicitly disowned a press release dated July 26, 2026, stating it was unauthorized and not issued by the KPA or its Information Secretary.

Advising party members, media outlets, and the general public not to be misled by unauthorized communications, the KPA reiterated that all official positions will continue to be disseminated solely through recognized party channels.
