Manipur CM Meets Kuki-Zo Christian Leaders in Kangpokpi

On 8 July 2026, the Chief Minister of Manipur visited Kangpokpi and interacted with leaders of the Kuki-Zo Christian Forum. During the meeting, the Forum submitted a memorandum to the Chief Minister, highlighting issues concerning the Kuki-Zo community.

While addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister stressed the importance of peace, reconciliation, and unity in Manipur. On his return journey from Senapati, he made a brief stop of about 30 minutes in Kangpokpi, where he met with Kuki-Zo pastors and church leaders to discuss matters of mutual concern.
