IMPHAL, July 28, 2026: The Directorate of Education (Schools), Government of Manipur, has extended the last date for submitting online applications for the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) 2026 Paper-I and Paper-II to 9 August 2026.
According to a notification issued by Ng. Bhogendra Meitei, Director of Education (Schools), Manipur on 27 July 2026, the extension is made in continuation of the department's earlier notification dated 7 July 2026. The decision is intended to provide additional time for eligible candidates to complete and submit their applications.
Candidates may apply online by submitting the prescribed application form along with the required documents through the official Department of Education website, www.manipureducation.gov.in, or directly via www.tet2026manedus.com.
The Directorate further informed that the dates of the TET examinations and the examination centres for Paper-I and Paper-II will be announced later.
The department has also uploaded the detailed notification, including the eligibility criteria, examination structure, syllabus, and instructions for candidates, on both official websites.
