Lamka, 3 July 2026: A sit-in protest was held today against the alleged extrajudicial killing of Lenminsang Haokip, who was reportedly shot dead by security forces on 16 June 2026 at Henglep Sub-Division in Churachandpur district.
The protest took place at the Wall of Remembrance in Tuibuong and was organised by the Kuki Women Organisation for Human Rights (KWOHR).
