Shillong, Aug. 3, 2026: The Assam Regimental Centre has announced a Defence Security Corps (DSC) recruitment rally for ex-servicemen of the Assam Regiment to fill vacancies for Sepoy (General Duty) and Sepoy (Clerk).
According to an official notification dated 27 July 2026, the recruitment rally will be conducted at the Assam Regimental Centre from 3 to 4 August 2026.
The schedule includes initial document verification at the Main Office on 3 August at 5:00 PM, followed by the Combined Physical Test (CPT) at the Football Ground on 4 August at 6:00 AM.
Candidates must produce their original discharge book during document verification. Eligibility criteria specify that applicants for Sepoy (GD) must be within two years of discharge, while those applying for Sepoy (Clerk) must be within five years of discharge.
The notification has been circulated to all battalions of the Assam Regiment, Records of the Assam Regiment, and Zila Sainik Boards across the North East for wider publicity.
Officials clarified that the recruitment rally is exclusively for ex-servicemen of the Assam Regiment.
