Kangpokpi Bids Warm Farewell to Outgoing DC

Kangpokpi, Aug 6, 2026 (DIO): The District Administration of Kangpokpi has accorded a heartfelt farewell to its outgoing Deputy Commissioner, Shri Mahesh Chaudhari, IAS, who served with distinction as the DC from May 2023 to July 2026 and will now take charge as Additional Secretary (Finance), at a function held in the Conference Hall of the DC Office. Shri Hemant Kumar, IAS will take charge as the new Deputy Commissioner of Kangpokpi.

In his farewell address, Shri Chaudhari expressed his heartfelt gratitude to all members of the administration, noting that the cooperation and contributions from every department and staff member exceeded expectations, particularly given that his tenure coincided with a uniquely challenging period. He stated that he was deeply inspired by the unwavering dedication of the officials who worked tirelessly to ensure the smooth functioning of the administration despite personal adversities. Furthermore, he assured his continued support for the district in the future.

The farewell programme was attended by senior officials of the district including SDOs, DLOs, and officials and staff of the administration office, who highlighted his impactful tenure, exemplary leadership, and dedicated service toward the development and welfare of the district.
