Lamka, August 7, 2026: The search for two missing persons from Churachandpur district is continuing, with community members and volunteers working tirelessly to trace their whereabouts.
The first missing person is Thangzoulian @ Zoulian, son of Pu Lianhaulal (Haupu) of Tongdam Village, Lamka Block. The child has been missing since around 2:00 pm on 6 August 2026 and remains untraced despite ongoing search efforts.
In a separate incident, Mr Haumang, son of Kamlal from Sumchinvum Village in Singngat Sub-Division, reportedly left his home at around 4:00 am on 7 August 2026 and has not returned. His disappearance has caused growing concern among his family and the local community.
The Zou Youth Organisation (ZYO) has been actively searching for both the missing child and the youth. However, neither has been found so far. The organisation has appealed to the public to remain alert and share any information that may help locate them. The families of the missing persons have also urged anyone with relevant information to contact the nearest local authorities or representatives of the Zou Youth Organisation immediately.
