Manipur Govt Establishes Medico-Legal Centre at CMC

Imphal, Dec 18, 2025: The Government of Manipur has declared the Department of Forensic Medicine & Toxicology at Churachandpur Medical College (CMC) as a Medico-Legal Centre to handle all medico-legal cases in the state. The notification, issued by the Home Department, states that the Medico-Legal Centre will have jurisdiction over Churachandpur and Pherzawl districts, including adjoining areas. The centre will become functional with immediate effect, following approval from the Competent Authority. The order is signed by H.
