KZC Condemns Midnight Raid on Joint Secretary's Residence

The Kuki-Zo Council (KZC) has strongly condemned the alleged midnight raid carried out by personnel of the CRPF's CoBRA unit on the residence of its Joint Secretary, Pu Douminlal Haokip, at Bongphajol in Kangpokpi district. In a press statement issued on 13 July 2026, the KZC stated that the raid took place at around 2:30 a.m. on 12 July while Haokip was in Churachandpur attending a KZC and Kuki Inpi Manipur (KIM) meeting along with the KIM President.
