Date: 04/10/24: Zomi Council and its Cabinet held a meeting with all its frontal organizations on October 4, 2024, at the Zomi Council office premises.
After a thorough discussion, the following resolutions were adopted:
1. The Zomi Council reaffirms its support for the four-point resolutions previously adopted by Zo United, particularly regarding the Aizawl meeting with the NGO Coordination Committee held on September 13, 2024.
2. Zo United must take the lead as a political pressure group in ongoing matters.
3. As the term for the current Zo United office bearers has expired, the process for electing new office bearers must be initiated promptly.
