Condemnation of
Armed Clash Between ZUF & NSCN-IM
JCT appeal to both ZUF and NSCN (IM) to immediately cease all hostilities, exercise maximum restraint, and resolve their differences through dialogue and understanding. As they have already entered into ceasefire agreements with the Government of India, the same spirit of peace and discipline must also be extended between themselves.
The JTC calls upon both parties to respect the voice of the people and to prioritize the safety, unity, and welfare of the Zeliangrong Inpui community above narrow interests. We urge them to put an end to such unwanted and fratricidal actions and to uphold the spirit of peace and reconciliation.
The JTC assures the community that it will continue to work towards fostering unity and harmony and will not remain silent when the lives and well-being of our people are put at risk.
