Lamka, March 6, 2026: The Central Village Defence Force (CVDF) has expressed appreciation to the public for their cooperation and participation during the Road March and Homage Ceremony held on March 6, 2026, in Lamka under the theme "Justice for All Martyrs and Expedite Political Autonomy."
In a press communiqué issued on Friday, the CVDF stated that the gathering served as a collective moment of remembrance for the sacrifices made since the outbreak of violence on May 3, 2023. The event also paid solemn tribute to late Pu Vungzagin Valte, BJP MLA of the 56-Thanlon Assembly Constituency.
The organisation acknowledged the discipline, restraint, and dedication demonstrated by volunteers and youths who coordinated the programme. According to the CVDF, their efforts ensured that the event was conducted in an orderly and dignified manner.
The CVDF further reminded all volunteers and units within its operational areas to remain vigilant, disciplined, and ready to respond whenever called upon, noting that the strength of the community depends on unity, responsibility, and continued preparedness.
