Ukhrul, 18 May, 2026 (DIO-IPR): Ukhrul District joined the rest of the nation in launching the Nationwide IEC (Information, Education and Communication) Campaign ‘Jan Bhagidaari- Sabse Door, Sabse Pehle’ today at DRDA Hall, Mini Secretariat, Hamleikhong.
The campaign which was flagged off by Shri. Asish Das (IAS), the Deputy Commissioner of Ukhrul today will continue till 25th of this month.
The Deputy Commissioner, on his address note, urged the people of Ukhrul to make the best utilisation of the various opportunities provided by the government and thereby obtaining the maximum benefit from it.
Mention may be made that this campaign will focus on field contact, service saturation, health outreach and livelihood visibility.
All possible benefits from schemes of the Government of India and the State Government, will also be attempted to be extended to the PVTG population during this period.
The programme today was attended by all DLOs and staffs across line departments in the district.
