NORWAY booked their place in the Round of 16 after a hard-fought 2-1 victory over CÔTE D'IVOIRE at Dallas Stadium, Arlington on 30 June 2026. Antonio Nusa gave the Norwegians the lead in the 39th minute with a fine finish after being set up by Martin Ødegaard. Côte d'Ivoire responded strongly in the second half and deservedly levelled the match in the 74th minute when substitute Amad Diallo finished from close range following a clever pass from Nicolas Pépé.
