Imphal, July 14, 2026: The Government of Manipur has appointed Dr. Thokchom Radheshyam Singh, MLA from Heirok Assembly Constituency, and Dr. Sapam Ranjan Singh, MLA from Konthoujam Assembly Constituency, as Government Spokespersons with immediate effect.
The appointment was made through an official order issued by the Secretariat's Confidential and Cabinet Department on July 14, 2026. The order states that both MLAs will serve as Government Spokespersons until further orders.
The notification was issued by the order of the Governor of Manipur and signed by Chief Secretary Dr. Puneet Kumar Goel.
