Imphal, July 31, 2026: The Directorate of Tribal Affairs & Hills, Government of Manipur, has invited applications from eligible Scheduled Tribe (ST) beneficiaries for three welfare schemes under the State Plan for the financial year 2026–2027.
According to a notification issued on 31 July 2026, applications are being accepted for Rural Shelter/Housing, Piggery (Rearing of Piglets), and Financial Assistance for Medical Treatment of Scheduled Tribe Patients.
Application forms may be downloaded from the website of the Directorate of Tribal Affairs & Hills, Manipur: https://dtahills.mn.gov.in. The forms were made available on 31 July 2026, and the last date for submission of completed applications is 31 August 2026.
The Directorate stated that duly filled application forms, along with all required documents, must be submitted to Room No. G-1, Directorate of Tribal Affairs & Hills, Babupara, Imphal, during office hours. Applications received after the deadline will not be entertained.
The notification also provides 5 per cent reservation for Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) in accordance with Government rules and guidelines.
For applicants from Churachandpur, Pherzawl, Kangpokpi, and Tengnoupal districts, completed application forms must be submitted through the offices of the respective Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) of the Autonomous District Councils (ADCs). The CEOs will forward the applications to the Directorate by 3 September 2026 in sealed covers.
