Imphal, August 11, 2026: The Directorate of Medical Education, Manipur, has announced the commencement of the Manipur Medical e-Counselling 2026-27 for candidates who have qualified in NEET-UG 2026.
According to a notification issued on August 10, eligible candidates can participate in the online counselling process for allotment of MBBS, BDS and BASLP seats under the State Government quota at RIMS, JNIMS, Shija Academy of Health Sciences (SAHS), Churachandpur Medical College (CMC) and Regional Dental College (RDC), Guwahati. The counselling will also cover MBBS Management quota and NRI quota seats at SAHS, Langol.
The entire counselling process will be conducted strictly online through the dedicated portal, manipurmc.mn.gov.in. Eligible candidates must register and complete choice filling and locking between August 13 and 19, 2026. The merit list of applicants will be notified on August 21, while the seat allotment results will be published on August 25. Candidates allotted seats must report or join their respective institutes between August 25 and 28.
The Directorate said candidates must carefully read the SOP for Registration and 1st Round of Counselling provided in Annexure-A. Technical instructions for registration and the seat matrix will be notified separately.
Registration will be completed only after payment of the prescribed non-refundable application fee. For State Government seats, the fee is ₹2,000, reduced to ₹1,500 for ST and SC candidates. For private Management and NRI quota seats at SAHS, the fee is ₹2,000, while candidates applying for both Government and Private (Management/NRI) quota seats must pay ₹4,000, or ₹3,500 for ST and SC candidates.
