The Zomi Council (ZC) appreciates the initiative taken by the Kuki Inpi Manipur (KIM) and the United Naga Council (UNC) on behalf of their respective communities to defuse the tension arising from the arson incident at K. Songlung village on January 26, 2026.
The rule of law and neighbourly love should be nurtured for the benefit of our people everywhere.
The Zomi Council looks forward to more constructive engagement by our community leadership to build peace and ensure healthy growth for all in the days ahead.
