UPF, KNO Condemn Bishnupur Blast Incident

Lamka, April 8: The United People’s Front (UPF) and the Kuki National Organisation (KNO) have strongly condemned the bomb blast incident at Tronglaubi in Bishnupur district, where two children were killed and their mother seriously injured on April 7, 2026. In a joint statement, the organisations termed the incident as unfortunate and tragic. They also urged media outlets to exercise restraint and avoid blaming any particular community without proper verification. UKNA Denies Role in Bishnupur Attack Case

Lamka, April 8: The United Kuki National Army (UKNA) has denied any involvement in the recent attack on civilians at Tronglaobi in Bishnupur district, calling the allegations baseless and misleading.
