In Chinland, four fighters from the CDF–Siyin (Chinland Council) lost their lives while defending their land and people. The incident happened on 27 November 2025 near Zawngkawng village in Tedim Township, where heavy fighting took place.
According to local sources, the SAC forces attacked Zawngkawng, Varlung and New Sungpi villages on 27 November using Y-12 aircraft. The attack caused serious damage and created panic in the area. SAC soldiers stationed at Tedim town under the 269 Battalion, and those in Kalay town, reportedly carried out strong assaults during the operation.
Chinland Council fighters said they resisted with determination, but four of their men were killed in the battle while protecting their community. They also claimed that there were casualties and heavy losses on the SAC side as well, though the exact numbers are not yet confirmed.
The situation in Tedim remains tense as villagers fear further attacks and continue to seek safety.
