MOREH, August 13, 2026: Volunteers of the HTC Tollaipao and the Moreh Social Forum (MSF) conducted a cleanliness drive at Moreh Hospital (SDH) and Primary Health Centre (PHC) Moreh on Thursday as part of efforts to prevent the spread of dengue in the border town. The cleanliness campaign focused on improving hygiene around the healthcare facilities and reducing potential breeding grounds for mosquitoes amid concerns over the dengue outbreak in Moreh. In a landmark homecoming, the Kuki community in the UK visited the Pitt Rivers Museum, Oxford on 3rd August 2026 for their first exclusive access to 1,165 ancestral artefacts, the largest Kuki collection in the world. Led by S. Seigoulien Haokip of SOAS and hosted by Curator Bryony Smerdon under the theme 'Mapping Connections', the diaspora reconnected through handling of heirlooms, folk songs and storytelling.
