Imphal, August 14, 2026: Manipur Police has congratulated six of its officers and personnel who have been conferred the prestigious President’s Medal for Distinguished Service (PSM) and Medal for Meritorious Service (MSM) on the occasion of Independence Day 2026. Two Naga Militants Killed in Kangpokpi Factional Clash

Kangpokpi, August 14, 2026: Two Naga militants were reportedly killed and three others injured in an alleged factional clash involving Naga armed groups at Langka in Kangpokpi district on Thursday. Aizawl, August 14, 2026: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Thursday conducted searches at 13 locations in Chennai and Mizoram as part of its investigation into a major interstate and international methamphetamine trafficking network. 2 Arrested, Arms and Ammunition Recovered in Kangpokpi

Kangpokpi, August 13, 2026: Joint security teams recovered arms, ammunition, communication equipment and other items during a search operation conducted at Joupi and Khoirok villages in Kangpokpi district on August 12.
