In the unfolding saga of our war and resistance against the Meiteis, a brave volunteer Mr Paominlun Haokip on duty has fallen to fate today. We count his loss not a tragedy but a sacrifice in the line of duty for he was among the many brave who stood between us and the enemy in defence of our ancestral land and freedom. His fight ends, but for those of us who are still in the fight, his dedication and sacrifice will continue to inspire us all.
