Pherzawl, May 25, 2026 (DIO): The week-long Information, Education and Communication (IEC) campaign titled “Jan Bhagidaari – Sabse Door, Sabse Pehle” concluded successfully in Pherzawl district after delivering essential government services to several remote villages. Organised under the leadership of the district administration, the campaign covered 22 villages through 14 service camps and benefited more than 3,000 residents.
Deputy Commissioner Smt. Mannuamching, IAS, reviewed the achievements of the campaign during a debriefing meeting held on Monday. She stated that the initiative combined Jan Sunwai programmes, health camps, and transect walks, which enabled direct interaction between government officials and local communities while addressing public grievances and service delivery gaps.
One of the major highlights of the campaign was Aadhaar enrolment and updation, which recorded a large public response. During the drive, officials provided 353 Aadhaar-related services, issued 334 caste certificates and 260 domicile certificates, and facilitated access to welfare schemes such as PM-KISAN, Pension Yojana, MGNREGA, and Mission Indradhanush.
Healthcare services remained a key focus of the campaign, with medical teams conducting health screening camps, consultations, and enrolment drives under CMHT and PM-JAY schemes to improve healthcare access in remote areas. A tree plantation drive was also organised as part of the administration’s commitment towards environmental sustainability.
Appreciating the efforts of various government departments, field-level staff, village authorities, self-help groups, and local residents, the Deputy Commissioner said the campaign reflected the administration’s commitment to ensuring last-mile delivery of public services across the district.
