Kuki ethnic people had been lovers of INDIA and Freedom Fighter community who fought the Imperial regime from 1917-1919 in the *'Kuki Rising 1917-1919'* IWW to defend their Fatherland of Indian Sub-Continent now divided into India (1947), Burma (1948) and Bangladesh (1972) respectively. The Kukis also fought the British in the IIWW under Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose (1942-1945).
